Gasp! Is that a middle finger?! How rude!!

Well, I guess this is where I introduce myself. I'm Lily, the creator and artist behind Liallie. I am based in the beautiful Bay Area in California. I have been an artist all my life and have always wanted to find a way to share my art and sense of humor with the world. My humor is definitely not for everyone. I have always been amazed at how art can be emotional and sometimes triggering. That's what makes us feel alive. Art is how we can make connections with each other.

We live in a crazy world right now, the hope is my art can bring someone a smile, a smirk, or a giggle. Some of my art may seem offensive. A middle finger or the word fuck may feel uncomfortable to some, but I like to use them in a lighthearted way. Growing up as an Asian woman, I've been taught to not use profanity or be rude in any way. Being able to use them freely is a form of empowerment and freedom for me. There is a lot of hatred going on in our world right now, but none of it was caused by the use of profanity or getting flipped off. Instead of being so focused on being offended by a cuss word, let's find ways to be kinder to each other through empathy and actions.
